Concerned about Seniors At Risk for Safety when discharged?

At Traycee Home Services, we know you have many seniors going home, who are a high safety risk and we are there to support them with our team of professionals.

Our Geriatric Care Coordinators perform a Home Care Consult to assist our clients and their families in recognizing and solving potential risks to home safety that could result in an injury or a fall.

Safety Tips to share with patients, residents and their families:

  1. Home Entrance
Clear areas of any objects or clutter; make sure   surfaces are non-slip & railings secure.
  2. Interior Stairs
Colored or glow in the dark tape can help increase visibility.
  3. Kitchen
Ensure appliances ON/OFF buttons are operable.
  4. Bedroom
    Accessible telephone & emergency numbers.
  5. Bathroom
Should accommodate wheelchair, cane, and/or walker.

All of our caregivers are trained to respond and remedy situations that put our clients' safety at risk everyday. Download a comprehensive Safety Tip List
